Beware

The is really good when it works. The graphics, story, gameplay, etc all really pull you in. The only problem is the game is not optimized well at all. I am playing on 3.46Ghz 12-core Mac Pro, with 32 GB of Rama and nVidia GeForce GTX 770 2GB. Even on the lowest graphical settings, when there are lots of NPC or big open environments, the frame rate takes a heavy dive. So beware before you buy.

Why this game is not as bad as everyone says

This game is one of best shooters to give good gameplay and an immersive story. Many people say they have issues running Metro 2033 on their computers. Though the loading times for each level are long and the audio before each level gets cut up, performance is not an issue. I have an 11 inch MacBook Air with a 1.4 GHz processor. This game runs fine with the setting the computer already set up. Issues with performance occur because people demand to much out of their computers. Lets face it, Mac’s are not meant for gamers. But this game only runs into problems when I try to set up graphics that are to high for my computer to run. Even on the lowest settings, the game looks superb, far better then the original Metro 2033 on the PC. Final points: This is a great game with long loading times, but if you use the graphics set up for you on the game launch, you will be fine. If not, lower the graphincs a bit. I play on the lowest settings possible, and my God does this game run fine.

So far I like it

This is a little tedious for me, because I am not a Japanese beginner. I have known kana for a long time, and I wish there was a “test out” option for it, but i don’t mind a little knowledge reinforcement. I do really like the games and the method! The writing recognition is a tad finicky, but such is all tablet/phone games with the recognition so I’m not mad at it. Overall so far I think it’s fun and good. Will update after more playing time, but as for now, it is for sure well worth the few dollars!

Repetitive, no vocabulary

The mini games get repetitive pretty quickly. If you're looking to actually looking to LEARN Japanese, this is not the app for you. It teaches you to read and write characters, but it doesn't teach you any real words to apply the knowledge (at least, not during the Hiragana phase, not sure beyond that yet).
It's also irritating when you're writing during the 15 second challenges because if you get a character even slightly wrong, or if you're stylus skips, you lose points and the teacher gets really angry looking for far too long, which is not conducive to learning.
Overall I enjoy the game, and I will continue playing it because I spent money on it and it is structured to learn N5 and N4 Kanji, but I wish there were more variety to the mini-games, maybe a sprinkling of vocab (maybe even a phrase or two!), and more built-in reinforcement for how to write the characters in each lesson.

Finally got off row one Hiragana. App refused to accept my あ no matter what! Also those who are slow due to disability must RUN from this app because ir will never work for you! My brain processes to slowly for this app so it took MONTHS to get past first row! Plus it kept making me start over frombeginning every time I opened app! (Use masahiro mizutani writing hiragana Robo apps instead! Just search for Kanji Robo then click on his name. The music Robo uses is repetitive but I still love all his apps! The icon is blue and red. Has opponent named robo. Repetitve but at least writing portion works!)( I use kana drill to learn kana and about 86 words of hiragana. )
I DO love the Sushi counter game and wish I could just play it and skip rest of app! Hated the memory fighting game and the baseball game. Thanks!

PoSH simply starts the installer / uninstaller (.msi, .exe). If the installer / uininstaller does not have a silent option, there is nothing PoSH can do about that. The RegKey uninstall string is only calling the original installer used to deploy the application.

I am trying to use the msi uninstaller to uninstall inventor 2011 but doing it silently causes explorer to close and not restart. I have a VB script from Autodesk that will work however it is not silent even after modifying it appropriately. I would like to get a silent uninstall that will not close explorer and wait for the reboot. How can I do this?

This script seems total overkill for uninstalling an application. For a simple uninstall (without the rather dubious looking cleanup script entries above), you simply uninstall from the command line with msiexec.exe (mock up GUID used below):

These settings will work for most digital-photography enthusiasts, but professional users will want finer calibration capabilities.
For quick printing, however, you needn't fiddling much with settings. Once you load up the paper, the printer's automatic sensor detects the paper's weight and texture, then adjusts its driver settings accordingly. This slick feature means you don't even have to adjust the drivers to do photo-quality printing on glossy paper. You can even set the Deskjet 5550 to print from edge to edge, without leaving a margin, for borderless photos and cards.

Like other HP printers, particularly Photosmarts such as the 7550, the Deskjet 5550 gives you the option to print photos either with one black and one tri-color ink cartridge or, for higher-quality photo printing, with one tri-color cartridge and one photo cartridge. Unlike with the photo printers, however, you must buy the photo cartridge separately for $24.99. Need to print on both sides of a page (say, to save paper on long docs)? The 5550 gives you that option, but you'll have to purchase the duplexer module (at $79.99).
In CNET Labs' tests, the Deskjet 5550 printed 4.2 pages per minute (ppm), about average for text printing. Its photo-print speeds fared worse, at a slow 4.3 minutes for an 8x10 photograph. By comparison, the similarly priced Canon S520 delivers text at a rate of 6.9ppm and printed our test photograph in 1.7 minutes. (Note: You may get faster print speeds if you turn off the automatic paper sensor in the driver.)

Ink costs you can live with.
With the included black and color ink cartridges, the Deskjet 5550 averages ink costs of 5.6 cents per page of text and 29 cents per page of color. Both of these costs are reasonable, if not the cheapest on the market; the Canon i550, for example, costs 3.2 cents for text and 19 cents for color.
Thankfully, the HP Deskjet 5550 prints solid-quality text. On plain copy paper, text is dark and legible down to 2-point type, although we noticed some stray hairs and dots in our tests. On HP's Bright White paper, text shows up much crisper and blacker, but we noticed slight streaking along the up- and downstrokes of the letters, as well as blurry, hard-to-read small-sized type.
The Deskjet 5550 performs much better with graphics. On plain paper, it shows off its excellent color-matching capabilities. Line drawings are accurate, and photos look quite good. Bright White paper yields similar results, though in our tests, the brightness of the paper exaggerated the few flaws we did notice. In both cases, the printer had trouble rendering smooth, even gradients and shading. On the whole, we suggest that you stick with plain paper, where you'll get impressive results.
However, we've seen better-looking photographs. Photo backgrounds and colors looked smooth in our tests, but skin tones showed noticeable yellow patches, and the printer struggled with more complex jobs such as differentiating between shades of red. Even so, this ordinary inkjet's pictures look much better than those of the similarly priced HP Photosmart 7150.
